What is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a thin hard shell layer that sits on top of your vehicle’s clear coat. Unlike spray waxes or spray ceramics that are much softer and less resistant; Professional ceramics are more resistant to harsh conditions and contamination. This includes UV rays, harsh air particulates, bug guts, bird droppings, water, etc.
Is ceramic coating right for me?
Everyone likes high gloss and protection, however depending on the vehicle’s use it may not be right for you. For example, a vehicle that frequents dirt or gravel roads, drives to and from construction sites, vehicles that travel off-road and may brush up against branches or other foliage. Ceramics do not protect against scratches or rock chick, therefore, high frequency through tough environments will quickly diminish the utility of the coating.
Misconceptions about professional ceramic coatings
Ceramic coatings are scratch proof/resistant:
This is true to a lesser degree than people believe. It won’t help against a dirty rag or mitt being dragged on the paint or accidentally brushing up to your car with your pant belt or button. What it can protect against is micro scratches from microfiber towels when drying the car, or the small airborne particulates that can scratch your vehicle when driving fast on high ways.
Ceramic coatings prevent rock chips:
People hear “hard-shell” and believe that this will protect against rocks, the only real solutions to protect your paint against rock chips is Paint Protection Film (PPF). This is a layer of thick clear vinyl like material that softens the impact on the paint.
Ceramic coatings don’t need to be maintained:
On the contrary, if you neglect the ceramic coating it will diminish its durability and lose gloss, as well as its hydrophobic features. You must hand wash your vehicle for optimal maintenance and ensure you use a maintenance spray every wash or every other wash.

FAQ's
Do you require access to a garage?
No, as long as we have enough space we have our own 10×20 canopy large enough to work under. For spaces with less access we must schedule the service in appropriate weather or cover from sunlight. At this time we do not have a shop for services available.
How do I maintain my ceramic coating?
Try avoiding drive-thru car washes or any automated car wash that uses scrubbers as it can reduce the longevity of the coating. Try hand washing with microfiber mitts and drying with microfiber towels. Use neutral, non-acidic, soaps to wash the car and apply a ceramic maintenance spray every wash or every other wash.
Can I wash my car right away?
Do NOT wash your vehicle right after the ceramic is applied. Most ceramics require a minimum of 48-hours to fully cure before being introduced to water. This includes rain, therefore, scheduling this service requires planning to ensure there is no rain when the coating is first applied.
Can I just pay to apply the ceramic coating without the proper steps?
Unfortunately we will not provide the service to a vehicle that is not properly prepped by us. There is no point in applying it if you will not get the full benefits and longevity of the coating.
